About TalionCalcs
TalionCalcs provides simple, accurate and free financial calculators that help you plan investments, loans and savings — instantly and without the guesswork.
What we do
We build lightweight, browser-first calculators for common personal finance needs — SIP, EMI, FD, RD, PPF, NPS, loan eligibility and more. Our tools run entirely in the browser (no server-side computation), are private by design, and are meant to give clear directional answers to everyday financial questions.
Fast & Reliable
Calculators are tuned for accuracy and performance: instant responses, minimal dependencies, and results you can trust for planning and comparison.
Transparent Methods
Each calculator shows the formula we use and explains assumptions so you can review the math — nothing is hidden behind black boxes.
Our mission
We want to make financial planning frictionless and accessible. By providing clean, no-nonsense tools we help people make better decisions — whether saving for a goal, comparing loans, or planning retirement.
- Clarity: Present results clearly and explain what they mean.
- Privacy: Calculations run locally in your browser by default.
- Trust: Use standard formulas and show them openly.
Why trust our calculators?
TalionCalcs focuses on simple, well-tested math. Our calculators:
- Use standard, documented financial formulas.
- Render results client-side so your input doesn't leave your browser unless you choose to share it.
- Are updated if formulas or tax rules need explicit changes (we note such updates in "Last updated").
Methodology (short)
We use deterministic formulas (SIP maturity formulas, EMI formulas, compound interest, etc.) implemented in plain JavaScript. For charts, we draw directly to canvas for performance and small file sizes. Where approximations are used we call that out explicitly on the calculator page.
Privacy & data
By default, TalionCalcs runs entirely in your browser — your inputs and results are not sent to our servers. We do not collect or store personal financial data unless you explicitly share it (for example via a contact form or newsletter signup).
If you use features that submit an email or opt into newsletters, we will only store the fields you provide. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Affiliates & monetization
Some links on TalionCalcs may be affiliate links. We may earn a small commission if you open an account through those links — at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links help keep these tools free and ad-light. We always disclose affiliate links near the relevant CTA.
Who runs TalionCalcs?
TalionCalcs is independently run and maintained by a small team focused on product quality and user value. We prioritize accuracy, accessibility and long-term usefulness over gimmicks.
